The Wedding
Together with our parents we are very excited (and slightly nervous) to be sharing our wedding day with our families and friends.
The ceremony will take place at one thirty in the afternoon at Saint Petrox Church, which stands at the mouth of the river Dart. Please arrive by one fifteen. After the church service, we would love to walk down to the beach before heading to The Boathouse for dinner and dancing.
Food
We are planning a seafood menu, you can tell us on the RSVP form if this does not suit you. It’s very simple for us to provide an alternative if we know in advance, but it will be tricky on the day.
Dress
It is a dress up affair! Please consider there will be walking involved and lots of steps down to the Boathouse. We hope to be outside for as much as the weather will allow - it will definitely be colder in the evening. You can drop off jumpers, coats, shoes at the Boathouse on your way to the church.
Sunday
We hope you can join us for a traditional English beach day on Blackpool Sands - there is nothing better than diving into the English Channel to wake up a sleepy head.
Travel
The nearest train station is Totnes and a taxi takes about thirty minutes. If you are driving parking in Dartmouth is limited. Once you arrive the best way of getting around is on foot or ferry. The traffic is likely to be heavy as its school holidays.
To St Petrox: You can walk to the church from Dartmouth town centre within thirty minutes. There is also a ferry from the town quay. There is no parking but local taxi services can drop you off.
